Samburu and Shaba game reserve lie in the northern frontier of Kenya. The rugged north safari destination is arid and dry most time of the year. Samburu is also home to a good number of very beautiful birds.

Further north they have the Singing wells. Here herdsmen sing to their livestock calling them to the watering whole. Each herder has a unique chorus, thus the animals come to water in shifts . The Reteti elephant sanctuary is also the only community owned elephant sanctuary. The facilities rescues baby elephants and a source of income for the community.The Mathew ranges is home to wild game that is well known for its guided walking safaris.
