Amboseli National park lies in the south western part of Kenya. It is home to largest elephant herds in Kenya, a good place to study elephant behavior. It has spectacular views of the snowcapped Kilimanjaro in Tanzania. The water pans and swamps of Amboseli offer a safe haven for animals amidst the dusty plains. The outstanding lookout point offers 360 degree views of the slopes of Kilimanjaro, the Chyulu hills and greater Tsavo region.

After Breakfast, embark on a short flight to the beautiful park in southern Maasai land. You will be received at the airstrip and transferred to the lodge with a short game drive enroute. Amboseli enjoys good weather all around and is home to hundreds of elephant families. The grassland and shot plains offer good hunting ground for the lions and cheetah. The giraffes tower above the tall acacia trees with the beautiful snow iced peak in the background.

Enjoy morning and evening game drive in the dusty but lush park. Check out the wildlife activity at the edge of the water pools as they come in to quench their thirst. The jackals, serval cats and hyenas can also be spotted here. For the bird lovers, Amboseli is home to a good number of avifauna. The Maasai of Amboseli have a beautiful culture. As the sun sets enjoy a glass of chilled drink and some biting in the wild or at the bonfire as the sunsets.
After two days in the dusty plains, it’s time to catch up with your busy schedule back in the city. You will enjoy a short flight to the domestic airport an onward a transfer to the international airport for your outbound flight.
